What is a DTF Transfer?
DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfers are full-color heat transfers printed on film & designed to be pressed directly onto garments. Matoko creates unique, customizable DTF designs that last a long time, are vibrant in color, and work on different types of fabric.
What’s the difference between a Gang Sheet and a Transfer Sheet?
A transfer sheet contains one design while a gang sheet is a single sheet with multiple designs laid out, maximizing space and are perfect to cut apart and press onto different items.

How do I build a gang sheet?
There are many programs available to build and arrange gang sheets for all skill sets. Here are two that we recommend:
- Canva - All canvases can be adjusted to your gang sheet measurements
- DTF Auto Build - Quick uploads and seamless transition from file to proof
The concept behind the gang sheet remains the same. Allot yourself space to cut between images and allot us (the printer) space for the printerhead margins (or your design will automatically be resized) - this amount is usually about a half inch on either side. Images do NOT need to be reversed for DTF printing, HOWEVER, images do need to have their background already removed if you want them to be transparent.

How do I apply a DTF transfer?
A. Every matoko order comes with detailed transfer application instructions & aftercare practices! In general, we recommend:
- Temperature: 300°F-320°F
- Time: 12 seconds
- Pressure: Firm
- Peel: Warm
Do you offer custom designs?
Yes! If you have your own artwork or need help arranging a gang sheet, please contact our customer service via email: matokoshopcs@gmail.com.
Can I use these transfers for commercial sale products?
Of course! These transfers are made for your personal/commercial use, whatever that may be. Matoko recommends being creative with our sheets to build something unique that’s true to you! Please note, however, that the resale or retail selling of our products is strictly prohibited.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Because matoko’s items are made to order, we do not accept returns. However, if there’s any issue with your order, please contact us and we will do our best to make it right. For more details, please review our official refund policy linked in our menu and at the bottom of the page.
